New Technologies and Possibilities: Innovations Shaping the Future of Epilepsy Surgery
October 21 - 23, 2027 - Toronto, Ontario
The 3rd International Epilepsy Surgery Society (IESS) Congress is where the global epilepsy surgery community comes together to advance one of the most specialized and rapidly evolving areas of neurosurgical care.
Bringing together leading epilepsy surgeons, clinicians, and researchers from around the world, programming will showcase emerging surgical techniques and practice-changing research that are redefining standards of care. Sessions will cover a range of procedures and innovations, including temporal lobe resections, lesionectomies, neuromodulation, and deep brain stimulation, alongside advancements in minimally invasive surgery and integrated technologies.
As the first IESS Congress hosted in Canada, the meeting will also highlight the country’s longstanding contributions to epilepsy surgery, while welcoming a global audience to connect, share knowledge, and build partnerships across borders to shape the future of the field and improve outcomes for patients globally.
